Nach Ke Dikha
William & Mary SASA
Bhangra and Fusion Competition
April 1-2, 2016
Nach Ke Dikha is an intercollegiate Bhangra & Fusion Dance Competition hosted by The College of William & Mary and the South Asian Student Association at the College.

Now in its 6th year, NKD has already hosted teams from across the country at Phi Beta Kappa Hall. This year the respective first-place winners of the Bhangra and the Fusion categories will each receive a $1000 Grand Prize and the second-place winners will each receive $500 in prize money.
The South Asian Student Association at the College of William & Mary is a student organization aimed at spreading South Asian culture to both the W&M community and the greater Williamsburg area. We foster South Asian culture through a plethora of events, ranging from live dance showcases to group-wide sporting events.

At SASA, we promote and encourage diversity; the organization is open to all people who wish to participate in an engaging endeavor. We reach out to all members of the community, encouraging unity by celebrating our mutual passion for South Asian culture.
To kick off the NKD festivities, the committee invites all competing teams to a Team Mixer. The banquet will be held in Tidewater at the Sadler Center on the William & Mary campus. All invitees are requested to dress semi-formal, and a sit-down dinner will be provided. Be ready for a fun night of mingling, games, and dancing with your fellow competitors!
The Nach Ke Dikha Bhangra and Fusion Dance Competition will be held on the evening of April 1, 2017 at the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Hall on the William & Mary campus. In honor of our fifth year, ten teams (5 Bhangra, 5 Fusion) will go head-to-head for the $1000 first-place grand prize and the $500 second-place prize. There will also be 3 exhibition teams performing.
Closing out the weekend is the Official NKD After Party, which will take place at the Williamsburg Hellenic Center. Be prepared to spend the night dancing with friends, teammates, and audience members to the best Bollywood and Bhangra tunes spun by DJ Ruckiss. Admission to the after party requires the purchase of a ticket + $5 after party charge. Come dressed to impress and ready to party!
